The Company

Eco2 Management Services Ltd is a highly successful International Renewable Energy company. Recently acquired by PRA we expect significant growth over the next 12 months, and with that we are looking to appoint a Financial Controller to work at our Head Office in Cardiff. The Role – Working closely with the internal Asset Management team and Institutional Investors, this role is responsible for overseeing the seamless delivery of the Commercial and Corporate Finance activities for a variety of complex site projects. With this role you will provide pivotal direction to a team of Project Management Accountants.

Duties

  • Strategic financial business partner to a portfolio of Asset Managers.
  • Assist with new business proposals.
  • Regular interaction with the city, institutional investors and lenders.
  • Hold overall responsibility for management and financial accounting for each site project.
  • Lead and develop a growing team of project accountants.
  • Responsible for business planning, cash management reviews and forecasting.
  • Responsible for external and statutory audit liaison.
  • Development and management of policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain a system of financial controls.
  • Run and maintain complex financial Investment models.
  • Management and statutory reporting for customers and third parties.
  • Participate in monthly Project Management meetings reporting progress.
  • Report to management and external clients in a clear and professional manner.

Candidate

  • Professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with min 5 years PQE.
  • Staff management experience.
  • Experience within the utility sector is desirable.
  • Solid experience of commercial finance: budgeting and forecasting, financial modelling, business partnering, KPI analysis etc.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • Team player.

As well as having demonstrable experience in the above duties, equally important will be the cultural fit. Applicants must have a positive and “can do” attitude with the ability to work under limited supervision whilst being aware of the work carried out by colleagues.

As a matter of course you will have an organised approach to work; the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines and an accurate approach with attention to detail.
