General Manager
Eco2 Management Services Ltd (EMSL) are looking for a new General Manager. This role is home-based but will require regular travel to two Low Carbon Farming projects in Norwich and Bury St Edmunds.
Reporting to our Managing Director (Operations) and working closely with our Finance, Operations & Maintenance and Health and Safety teams, this role leads the delivery of our client Management Services Agreement (MSA) across two Low Carbon Farming projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with the client and EMSL Finance to improve project financial performance—tightening forecasting and budgets, strengthening cashflow visibility, surfacing margin/efficiency opportunities and making clear, evidence-based recommendations.
- Embed the MSA and third-party agreements into simple, repeatable processes so obligations are delivered on time and to a high standard; escalate out-of-scope items to our SMT early.
- Act as the client’s primary point of contact with clear reporting and update cadences and strong governance; maintain accurate records that protect EMSL IP and client confidentiality.
- Coordinate across H&S, Finance and O&M to maintain safe, compliant and reliable operations; monitor site performance and resolve hand-off gaps quickly.
- Lead and develop a small MSA management team—clarifying roles, setting standards and managing time/workload to meet internal and client deadlines.
- Uphold quality management standards and champion a strong health and safety culture.
- Drive continuous improvement activities at the site but also within the EMSL teams to ensure that we are able to respond to changing client needs easily.
Who You Are:
We’re keen to hear from leaders who are motivated to improve commercial performance, strengthen systems and deliver great client service. We’ll look for:
- Leadership experience in energy/utilities/industrial or complex projects, with a strong commercial focus and confidence engaging clients on budgets, forecasting and value.
- Fluency with financial controls/reporting and strong Excel/data analysis skills (you don’t need to be an accountant, but you are financially credible).
- Skill in contract/obligation management (MSA familiarity welcome) and turning requirements into clear, repeatable processes.
- Clear, credible communication and relationship-building with clients and internal teams.
- A proactive, safety-first mindset and comfort working across multiple locations.
